Tonight, our fearless reviewer Chris takes the lantern in hand, ready to face whatever lurks within the next can…

1. Name :  Remnant, NEIPA ( 5.2% ABV)

2. Brewery: Brew York, York (England)

3. Hops : N/A

4. Grain : N/A

5. Aroma : Urinal cakey, with lime and a slight spice.

6. Appearance : Golden colour with open white film head when poured.

7. Body :  Medium bodied, okay carbonation no head retention.

8. Taste: Refreshing taste of Melon with a mixture of Hops and a sour limeyness

Not one for me this, the smell put me off, but the taste wasn’t much better. The melon was a n interesting twist but that strange sour astringency just was not for me.

Chris’s Jack ‘O Rating is: 2.7/ 5.0
