1. Name : Hellfire , Cherry & Rhubarb pie sour ( 6.0% ABV)
2. Brewery: Brew York
3. Hops : N/A
4. Grain : N./A
5. Aroma : A very strong sour/bitter Cherry scent
6. Appearance : An Opaque Cherry red in colour with no visible head when poured.
7. Body : Very smooth, medium bodied tipple with a slight level of carbonation, pretty astringent but no overall burn or puckering.
8. Taste: Again it had a low level of astringency brought on by the tart cherry flavour that makes your mouth water, this then blooms to a sweet vanilla like pastry finish.
I like it! No trick here, it has a really nice Cherry flavour but not too much of a Rhubarb taste, to the point you cant really tell its there. Sweet pastry vanilla notes, really hit after the tartness making this a very tasty combo.
Kayla’s Jack ‘O Rating is: 4.3/ 5.0
