Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we’ve got Coddy stepping up to do his first review for us in nearly a year… but we wont hold that against him!
Today he is casting his eye over something a little outside his usual wheelhouse. This time it’s Fugitive Telemetry a NEPA from Bearwood Brewing.
With pale ales not normally topping Coddy’s hit list, this one comes in with no small amount of curiosity…

Name: Fugitive Telemetry
- Brewery: Bearwood Brewing
- Aroma : Surprisingly Tropical scent with a good citrus backing.
- Appearance : Cloudy to Hazy Yellow ale with a open white head when poured.
- Body : Light bodied, mid to low level carbonation but poor head retention.
- Taste : Initial mellow hoppy notes, followed by a wash of tropical fruit tones, very refreshing and a cracking one to start a session with.
I thought that this one was very well rounded, and would be an absolute knock out on a sunny summer day/ eve. I would firmly put this in the “Beer Garden” beer list, looking forward to trying another despite Pales not really being my go to.
Our overall rating: 3.5/ 5.0
