Titanic – Cappuccino stout (4.5% ABV)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Today we have Titanic’s Cappuccino stout a close relative to their very popular and well known chocolate and vanilla stout. but will this 330ml bottle offering measure up to its popular big brother?

We let Sam investigate!

Titanic – Cappuccino Stout

Name: Cappuccino Stout

  1. Brewery:  Titanic Brewery
  2. Aroma : A definite coffee aroma to this one
  3. Appearance : Very dark in colour with a slight brown highlight at the edge of the glass and had a tight white head when first poured.
  4. Body : Medium bodied, good level of carbonation but with minimal head retention.
  5. Taste : But flavour full of coffee with a fine cream accompaniment. Not bad but don’t drink it cold ,room temperature I feel gets the best out of this stout rate

Overall, this stout delivers a solid coffee-forward flavour with a creamy finish, and while it doesn’t quite reach the same level as the Chocolate Vanilla option, it still offers enough sweetness and depth to make it worth trying.

The coffee notes are the standout feature, and the creaminess adds a pleasant balance, but it’s best enjoyed at room temperature to get the full flavour. Not the strongest of the range, but certainly a worthwhile drink for coffee stout fans.

However I wonder what it would taste like if you blended this with the chocolate vanilla variant?..

Our overall rating: 3.8/ 5.0
