We thought we would start you off with something a little different from the average bevvy. We first tried this beer at the Hull and East Yorkshire Beer Festival in 2013.
Stonehenge Ales based in Netheravon, Wiltshire. Brewing since 1984 and taken over by the current head brewer in 1993.

“Sign of Spring is a seasonal ale brewed between March and May. Brewed at OG 1044 and ABV 4.6%. A light green, incredibly smooth and very drinkable beer, rich in both malt and hop aroma. Specially brewed for springtime (beer) lovers.”
it was surprisingly popular despite its unusual colour, and that was 90% of its appeal, it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t particularly great either. However, every time I have had this has been at a festival so it could be that the beer just doesn’t travel well.
our overall rating: 2.1 / 5.0
