Surreal Stout, Dark Arts – Magic Rock Brewery

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

I hope you are all doing well out there. Today we are looking at a very delicious stout from the Magic Rock Brewery.

1. Name : Dark Arts – Surreal Stout (ABV 6.0)
2. Brewery: Magic Rock Brewing
3. Aroma : Coffee, Chocolate
4. Appearance : Very Dark, Malty Head with very good retention
5. Body : Heavy Bodied, and Rich but not overpowering.
6. Taste : Bitter and malty, Rich, smooth chocolate and coffee, with subtle red fruit and smoke.

This one ticked nearly all of our boxes, it was truly outstanding considering it was a tinned beer. We felt that this was more akin to that of a porter than that of a stout but no less fantastic. Definitely one to add to your emergency COVID beer supply if you have not already!
