Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are looking at a beer that is no longer available on the market, but that’s not going to stop us.. even if the can is 2 years old! (it was still good)
- Name : Heart Shaped Tears (ABV 6.2)
- Brewery: Mad Hatter Brewery
- Description : When Adonis died, Aphrodite cried heard shaped tears. This Strawberry Ice Cream Pale has loads of heart shaped strawberries in it and when you drink it you will fall in love.
- Aroma : Sweet & Fruity
- Appearance : Pours unclear reddish gold with a thin, creamy white head.
- Body : Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly sticky, a little warmth, low bitterness. Fun fruity gear.
- Taste : Sweet with lots of jammy berries, melon, strawberry.
Another unusual bevvy this week, sadly now discontinued. Mad Hatter Brewery est 2013 and closed in 2017/18 They were based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, and they were dedicated to making great craft beer with live yeast.
They did have a tendency to make beers with out of the box flavours and this was certainly one of those beers.
although unusual it was not to offensive to drink, however we definitely wouldn’t class it as a session ale more of an extravagant one off.
