This year, we’re having a ‘White Christmas’!

Hi there fellow beer lovers, and a Merry Christmas to you all!

For those of you who have not had any snow this year! Fear not, for there is still hope as today thanks to the very generous gift from a friend, we are having a look at Saltaire Brewerys ‘White Christmas’

Saltaire Brewery was established in 2005, and was one of the first micro breweries that emerged in Yorkshire. The Brewery has grown considerably in its 15 year life into a respectable well known brewery that can now produce and bottle 100,000 units a week, and has them distributed world wide!

  1. Name : White Christmas
  2. Brewery: Saltaire Brewery
  3. Description : A refreshing, lightly hopped pale infused with orange peel and coriander seeds for a deliciously festive twist.
  4. Aroma : Spiced Orange Maramalade, you can almost smell like a jammy tang to it.
  5. Appearance : Clear, and is a light almost amber colour with one finger of white head
  6. Body : Smooth, Medium bodied with a very good carbonation.
  7. Taste : Sharp Citrusy-Lemon, with spiced pepper and hoppy undertones that mellow into a long thirst quenching feeling.

This ladies and gents is a beer, and it comes in pints. Its a nod to the more traditional style of brewing and is definitley what I would call an old school beer. If you are really fond of your new style craft beers like EPA’s for example, this probably isnt the one for you. But if you are a lover of Bitter and old Amber Ales this is certainly a christmassy beer for you.

We, however are particularly glad that we have another 7 bottles left, and afterall it is Christmas… it would be rude not to wouldnt it!

Merry Christmas All!
