Double Or Nothing – Brewdog (ABV. 6.5%)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Brewdog have become the world’s first carbon negative brewery in the World, and how to do you commemorate such a monumental feat by creating a limited edition beet of course.

So today we are looking at just that!

1. Name : Double or Nothing
2. Brewery: Brewdog
3. Description : A marshmallow & pineapple hazy IPA.
4. Aroma : Strong Pineapple notes, with a hint of Vanilla
5. Appearance : Cloudy, Toffee Apple Colour, with a thin white head
6. Body : Medium bodied, with light carbonation
7. Taste : Strong Initial Zenty, Fruity flavour, with a vanilla, marzipanlike undertone.

This one is certainly something a little different, its very sweet tasting, so much so that I would describe this as a ‘pick-me-up’ beer. Its very light but for me because of its sweet taste is not one I could session. However, a number of our friends, particularly those that favour the pilsner have raved about this one. So I think its likely that it may find its way into Brewdogs usual rotation sooner or later.

If you manage to get your hands on this limited run, its definitley worth the experience, and marks a new era in brewing in Brewdog, and I cant wait to see what they come up with next.
