Lost Dog- IPA – Horsforth Brewery (ABV 5.5% )

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Today we are looking at Horsforth Brewerys Lost Dog- IPA.

Horsforth is a mediumsized Brewery based on New Road Side, Horsforth, and is currently going under a series of rennervations in order to create a larger tap room for beer lovers to enjoy their tipples.

  1. Name : Lost Dog, IPA
  2. Brewery: Horsforth Brewery
  3. Aroma : Strong Fruity tones of Mango & Apple
  4. Appearance : Deep Gold, with a slight haze to it, thin weak head that dissipated quickly.
  5. Body : Medium bodied, with low carbonation.
  6. Taste : Clean, with a sharp fruity bitterness, like a fresh grapefruit with a hint of lime.

This is an enjoyable bitter IPA, which can be quite harsh to start but grows on you as you continue down the pint. Beautiful in colour, and the aroma is what you would expect from Citra hops. Another good one from Horsforth Brewery, im chalking this on up as my No.2, Aubretia securing the top spot, but non the less this is definitley one I will be revisiting when Boris says we can visit the taproom again!

If you are interested in finding out a little more about the Horsforth Brewery I conducted an interview with Mark the head honcho there a few weeks ago, you can check that interview out here
