Pilsner, Unfiltered Lager – Kirkstall Brewery (ABV 3.5% )

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Today we are continuing our look into Kirkstall Breweries easy drinking selection by takingf a look at their Pilnser.

1. Name : Pilsner, Unfiltered lager
2. Brewery: Kirkstall Brewery
3. Aroma : Slight hint of grassy hops, and mild zesty-ness
4. Appearance : Straw coloured, very visable fizz
5. Body : Thin to medium bodied, well carbonated
6. Taste : Crisp and cutting taste, slight hint of hops, but not overpowering like alot of Pilsners, and in a suprising twist pairs well with goats cheese

As I have previously mentioned, we are not lager drinkers, but, we try to be as objective as we can as we know that not all beers are to everyones taste.
With that in mind, Kirkstalls Pilsner is punchy, refreshing, well carbonated and has a nice unique tang to it. It’s certainly not one we would refuse if we were brought a pint of it.
