Warburtons Crumpet Table Beer – Toast Ale (ABV 2.8%)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

As we all know beers are often called things from the sublime to the ridicullous, Warburtons Crumpet Table Beer however much like Ronseal is exactly what it says on the tin.

1. Name : Warburtons Crumpet Table Beer 2.8%
2. Brewery: Toast Ale
3. Description : Light, Fruity, Planet Saving
4. Aroma : Fruit Bread with a hint of hops
5. Appearance : Light Gold in colour, clear with a medium white head
6. Body : Thin to Medium Bodied, well carbonated
7. Taste : Light Hops with a almost toasted bread like taste that grows as you drink it

For those of you who have never heard of Toast Ale they are a brewery that is dedicated to assisting in the reduction of food waste as well as a number of other environmental aspect, should you be interested in learning a little more about them and thier ethos, I wrote a short piece on them here.

Now in respect to this Warburton Collab, it certainly is interesting, who knew that beer made from Wonky Crumpets could be so tastey, now this is only the table beer, but they also previously created an IPA from wonky crumpets too, it really does show that one mans waste is another mans treasure. The beer itself has a unusual almost baked taste which is novel, with a very subtle fruityness.
