Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are having a look at Ilkley Brewerys Flagship ale Mary Jane. For those of you who don’t know, Mary Jane is a Multi Award winning Pale, and is named after a local folk anthem “On Ilkley Moor Bah t’at” which charts a guy courting a certain Mary Jane up on our local windy, chilly Moor. There is a bit of fun beer trivia for you!

- Aroma : Floral almost heather like notes with a hint of Hop
- Appearance : Classic clear pale Amber, small bubbles of carbonation with a tight white head
- Body : Low to Medium Bodied, Well carbonated
- Taste : Refreshingly bitter, slightly floral with a burnt biscuit finish
This was everything you would expect from a multi award winning pale ale, it was refreshing, had that bitter bite and delivered some delicious malt biscuity tones, definitley one for the pale ale enthusiasts out there, no nonsense just a good clean pint.
