Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are dipping our toe into what Turning Point Brew Co have to offer, with one of their best selling tipples Disco King.
- Name : Disco King
- Brewery: Turning Point Brew Co
- Aroma : Punchy citrus notes followed by the sweet scent of hops.
- Appearance : Clear straw coloured nectar, with a tight white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well cabonated, with a good head retention
- Taste : Strong hoppy flavours with a subtle citrus twist with a bitter dry finish.
I liked this one but it seemed to be missing something, a little umpf maybe? I would definitley drink it again, and it certainly doesnt feel like a 5.1% so be careful with this one guys its definitley an easy drinker, but that % can knock you on your backside if your not careful!
I have to say these guys took me a little by surprise, Turning Point Brew Co are a smaller brewery based in Knaresbrough who opened their doors their in 2019 whom I had not heard of until about 6 months ago (sorry guys).
They have a number of interesting beers on offer including their Matter selection (Custard beer) which I will be having a look at shortly.
I am also hopeful that i will be able to arrange an interview with them too as I would love to hear the method behind the madness of some of their more unusual tipples.
