Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are joining in on the Celebrations of Jims Bottle Shops 2nd Birthday! To commemorate this auspicious occasion they have teamed up with Horsforth Brewery in order to make a special limited edition beer, TACO.
- Name : TACO
- Brewery: Horsforth Brewery & Jims Bottle Shop
- Aroma : Strong fruity punch of mango with a strong follow up of freshly cut hops.
- Appearance : Cloudy Apricot with a white head
- Body : Heavy viscous body, well carbonated with poor head retention.
- Taste : Strong hoppy flavour with a cheeky hit of heat and some subtle fruity tones, before leaving you with a dry bitter tang.
I was lucky enough to get a fresh pint of this particular tipple on Friday in the dying summer sun and it was the highlight of my week. The tinned version is nearly as good as the draught but is slightly drier to taste.
Its definitley a nice summer tipple, and it is a great tipple to celebrate JimsBottle Shops 2nd year in business. Both the Brewery and Jims should be proud of this one, if you do get a chance to get down to Jims on Town Street in Horsforth or Horsforth Brewery please make sure you get a pint I assure you, you will not be disapointed with the beer or the service!
