Seven Bro7hers – Throw Away IPA (5.0% ABV)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Those of you who are avid readers will know that a The Eternal Hoptimists we support all breweries that look to cut down on emitions food waste and are trying to create beers in new innovative ways. Todays tipple is no exception, so lets have a look at Seven Bro7hers Throw Away IPA.

  1. Name : Throw Away IPA
  2. Brewery: Seven Bro7hers
  3. Aroma : Sweet Citrus punch with a hint of dry wheat.
  4. Appearance : Pale straw in color, slightly hazy with a thin white head.
  5. Body : Medium bodied well carbonated, but next to no head retention.
  6. Taste : Mild citrus flavour, followed by a almost sugary like sweetness that mellows into a cornflake finish

I know I say this alot but again this is a little different to your average tipple. Seven Bro7hers have teamed up with Kellogs to give us a beer made with left over cornflakes. Thats right, you read that correctly I did say Cornflakes.

But is it any good? Well they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if your not a fan of cornflakes, you definitley wont like this one. Personally, I have gone round the houses with this one, Its a nice session beer at 5%. But I feel that its a beer that you have to be in the mood for. I personally wouldnt want to drink a beer at 10-11pm that tastes of Cornflakes, as im sure it would be giving my body some bizare mixed signals, but as a one off or as a lunchtime pint? I certainly wouldnt say no!
