Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are looking at another Brewdog Tipple this time a Marshmellow & Pineapple IPA.
- Name : Mallow Laser Quest
- Brewery: Brewdog
- Aroma : Sharp pineapple with a mellow vanilla draw.
- Appearance : Cloudy Honey in colour with a thin white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated but poor head retention.
- Taste : Very sweet, candy or marshmellow flavour initially but mellows out to have a pineapple IPA backbone.
This was part of the March / April AGM box for 2021, so I know I am a little late to the party with this one. The one is another sickly sweet dessert beer, its not quite as sweet as the ‘Dessert in a Can’ series, but not a far cry away.
The sweetness coupled with its punchy 6% ABV makes this not a pint for the faint of heart, I enjoyed this one but one is all I could manage. A younger me could certainly of handled a few of these but my sweet tooth seems to be dwindling these days!
