Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Back in April 2021, BrewYork celebrated its 5th Birthday as a brewery. In celebration of this, they made a grand total of 5 Imperial stouts. Each of these five beers has been assigned a chapter of the brewery’s 5-year history, and has been designed around the crew’s favourite post-modern slasher films!
So I thought, is there really a better series to cover on the lead-up to Halloween? I don’t think so!
The second installment is one of sweet ‘Revenge’ in the form of a maple & pecan imperial milk stout stout.
- Name : The Revenge
- Brewery: BrewYork X Naparbier
- Aroma : Sweet, Nutty Notes
- Appearance : Dark with a thin mocha coloured head
- Body : Full bodied, very viscous, well carbonated, poor head retention.
- Taste : Bittersweet nuttiness with some dark cocoa, which sweetens into a maple finish.
What a delicious nutty number this one was, so far this Freaky Franchise Series is shaping up to be monumentally monstrous in a good way!
This one really scratched my snickers loving itch, and I can’t wait to try the next one!
