Eagle Brewery – Banana Bread Beer (ABV 5.2%)

Today we are back to looking at beers that taste like food, this time we’re a look at a bottled Banana Bread beer by Eagle Brewery.

1. Name : Banana Bread Beer
2. Brewery: The Eagle Brewery
3. Aroma : Strong scent of banana, with a mellow hoppiness and a hint of wheat
4. Appearance: Clear Amber in colour with an open white head.
5. Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, poor head retention.
6. Taste : Tastes like liquid banana bread, fruity, morish and ever so slightly stodgy.

It’s not the punchiest of beers and at 5% it could be a high-end session, but the banana bread taste is very prominent and leaves a nice aftertaste. Pretty much as advertised, you wanted a Banana bread beer and Eagle Brewery have delivered one!
