Turning Point X Vocation Brewery – Small Hours DDH (ABV 5.4%)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Today we are looking at another punchy Yorkshire collab, this time between Knaresbrough’s Turning Point, and Hebden Bridge’s Vocation Brewery, in the shape of their DDH, Small Hours.

  1. Name : Small Hours DDH
  2. Brewery: Turning Point X Vocation Brewery
  3. Aroma : Strong scents of hops with a mask of vanilla, and a sligh citrus twist.
  4. Appearance : Clear really pale gold with an open white head
  5. Body : Very lively, medium bodied with good head retention.
  6. Taste : Slightest hint of citrus amongst a bitter hoppy hug that warms to malt and turns woody to finish.

Another belter with a playful amount of flavour. It’s well balanced, flavourful and at 5.4% it’s a cheeky little jab of strength that warms your belly into the small hours of the night.

But it’s not only the beer that’s great, the artwork on this, and quite a few of the Turning Point tipples is very eyecatching and was created by the artist Lottie Walsh so make sure you check out their work if you have the time!

our overall rating: 3.9 / 5.0
