Hi there fellow beer lovers,
We are continuing through on our 12 days of Christmas selection from Turning point Brew Co, this time we are looking at a session IPA, with a citrus twist.
Name: Become The Data, Session IPA
Brewery: Turning Point Brew Co
Aroma: A fruity citrus start, that is quickly replaced by strong hoppy notes.
Appearance: Cloudy turbulent honey-gold in colour, with a white open head.
Body: Medium to heavy-bodied, well carbonated, leave a coat on the tongue, leaving you with an ever so slightly dry mouthfeel.
Taste: Reasonably hoppy number, with a dash of malt, that morphs into a citrus finish, giving it a fruity twist.
This one was more of a mellow tipple, which is what you would expect from a session IPA. The fruity twist gives it a bit of depth, and the dry mouthfeel leaves you wanting a little more. A very nice addition to Turning points ever-increasing number of IPA’s.
