Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are continuing our journey through Turning Point Brew Co’s 12 Beer of Christmas, with thier Pilsner, Exile
- Name: Exile, Pilsner
- Brewery: Turning Point Brew Co
- Aroma: Sour dough like smell with a playful whisper of hops
- Appearance: Clear pale honey in colour with a thin tight white head.
- Body: Medium bodied, heavily carbonated, good head retention
- Taste: Crisp, clean lager, with a mellow hoppy bitterness.
This as I am sure you are all well aware of by now is not my go-to bevvie, Pilsners and other Lagers are never really to my taste. However, this was clean and tasty, and had a different mouthfeel to others I’ve had in the past, that could be due to the fact it’s made with soft water rather than the harder water that I’m used to.
