This is one from a brewery and taphouse in the redeveloped Fruit Market district of Hull.
It’s an unfiltered Kellerbier style lager that is slowly fermented and cold-conditioned following traditional Dortmunder methods.
- Name : Bonehead Lager
- Brewery: Bone Machine Brewing Company Limited
- Aroma : Feint hoppy
- Appearance : Golden with a generous white head. Being unfiltered I would have expected some haze but this was very clear
- Body : Light body with plenty of carbonation and good head retention
- Taste : A crisp, dry and satisfying lager. Quite bitter with a strong aftertaste with a hint of bread/wheat
A very drinkable premium German-style lager that benefits from a final dry-hopping.
