Hi there fellow beer lovers,
This is one of two current beers brewed specially to support the club (the other being The Captain’s Tipple Mango Pale Ale). This lager is described as ‘The Favourite Brew of the Vociferous Few’. A great strap-line but what will these casual Cowdenbeath FC supporters make of it?
- Name : Central Park Lager
- Brewery: Beath Brewing
- Aroma : Grassy, green hops
- Appearance : Straw coloured, slightly hazy with a very brief lasting head
- Body : Thin bodied and lightly carbonated for a lager
- Taste : Crisp, dry with a nice touch of bitterness
A pleasant, undemanding easy drinking lager. Will probably be appreciated more by real ale drinkers than the average fan who is used to drinking Fosters (or more likely Tennent’s) which have much more carbonation.
A collaboration between a community based brewer and football, that should be applauded and we wish them well.
