Hi there fellow beer lovers,
We are back again having a look at another scientific tipple by Atom.
This time it’s Retrograde Motion, a tipple as black as night, much like space itself, hence its name which is in reference to the scientific astronomical principal.
Retrograde Motion is where periodically, an astral body appears to change in its movement through the night’s sky. This is an optical illusion caused by the fact that objects in our solar system orbit the Sun at different distances and speeds.
Now the science lesson over… let’s get back to the tipple at hand!

- Aroma : Hints of chocolate and coffee
- Appearance : Black stout, with a thin tight coffee coloured head
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, with acceptable head retention.
- Taste : A touch of coffee chocolate, with an almost smokey tar undercurrent.
Holds the flavour on your tongue nicely. However, I was a little disappointed as it was not as full-bodied as I would have expected from a beer like this one.
