As a lover of word play, I can’t resist a lame pun, so Ray Zen caught the eye. This stout is brewed with added raisin puree and cinnamon sticks to up the interest.

- Aroma : Dried fruits and hints of coffee
- Appearance : Jet black with a dark reddish brown head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonated with some head retention
- Taste : Strong flavours of alcohol soaked dried fruits and rich dark chocolate. Initially sweet but a long dryish aftertaste
Like a Christmas cake which has been well fed on spirits. Lovely as a single drink but probably a bit too overpowering to have several pints. An excellent choice to include in an evening on stouts and porters.
