Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimist’s, Today we are taking a look at a highly recommended NEIPA from Donkey Brewing Co, The Notorious NEIPA.
- Name: The Notorious NEIPA
- Brewery: Donkey Brewing Co
- Aroma : Strong hop with a heavy citrus backing
- Appearance : Cloudy manuka honey with a open white head.
- Body : Medium Bodied, well carbonated, and good head retention.
- Taste : High Citra gives it a pleasant bitter taste that makes your tongue tingle, which mellows into a refined sweetness.
This was a very nice refreshing pint, no nonsense, no gimmicks. Just a clag and claw free, affordable NEIPA. I would definitely have this one again, its a tad to strong for a session but given the lack of bloat and heaviness, I would definitely not stop at just the one!
