Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists. Today we are looking at something a little special from Northern Monks Patron Project.
This is the Debut beer in the Amy Hastings Tarot-Inspired series. This one is inspired specifically by “the Lovers ” Tarot card. A card that symbolises among other things ‘Partnership’ making this a perfect first edition to the series.
Amy Hastings is a York based designer who specialises in a variety of areas including gouache illustration, rug making and ceramic upcycling. Her designs are heavily influenced by the bold designs of kitisch decor, and she loves to transform mundane items into her bold designs.

- Name: The Lovers
- Brewery: Northern Monk Brewing
- Aroma : Strong notes of strawberry, and vanilla.
- Appearance : Dark with a slight red tint, and a mushroom head
- Body : Full bodied, well carbonated, good head retention.
- Taste : Strawberry, Cherry, Cacao, and Vanilla now that is a combination.
Wow what a combination, a little strong at 10% but its anything but harsh, and fruity to boot. not to mention Vanilla and Cacao, Yum yum. Barkeep! (Sam) Another of these for me please!
