Beavertown – Double Chin, Double Neck Oil DIPA (8.6%)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

As someone who is delaying his passport application due to some very unflattering photographs this beer could have been named specially for me. The can design is the usual funky black with skulls but also includes hearts and candles. The reason being this is a celebration beer originally brewed to mark their 4th birthday.

We wear ours with pride, but what is the beer like? #beerreview #beerlovers #beeroclock
  1. Name : Double Chin
  2. Brewery: Beavertown
  3. Aroma : Hoppy and citrussy
  4. Appearance : Golden, rather hazy with a thin white head
  5. Body : Full bodied, well carbonated with reasonable head retention
  6. Taste : Dry and very hoppy. Clearly a strong-tasting beer with a long bitter finish

Strongly flavoured and potent IPA, gimmick free but of outstanding quality. Feel free to double up, I would, but with some caution.

Our overall rating: 4.0/ 5.0
