Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the Enternal Hoptimists! Today, we are looking at one of the Scottish beers we brought back from our last visit Northward in March.

- Name: Dark Ness
- Brewery: Loch Ness Brewery
- Aroma : Espresso and dark chocolate with a smidge of barley.
- Appearance : Dark in appearance with a mushroom grey coloured head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, good head retention.
- Taste : Deep roasted coffee and dark chocolate which fills and coats the mouth leading to a bitter finish.
This could quite easily be a session ale, the percentages are right and the taste although decadent is very moreish. A cracking little find from the Tesco’s in Dunfirmiline, we will definitely keep our eyes open for this one again.
Our overall rating: 3.6/ 5.0
