Welcome back! So we are back with the folk at Tiny Rebel to make our final deliberation on this short series of popular mash up specials, this week we are looking at N.E.R.G which is definitely in no way Red Bull!
This is part of a range of ‘definitely not a health drink’ beers as the comment on the back of the can makes clear!
- Name : N-ER-G, No Bull IPA
- Brewery: Tiny Rebel
- Aroma : Strong smell of caffeine energy drink with a distinct hop undertone
- Appearance : Cloudy almost buttercup yellow, with a medium white head.
- Body : medium, well carbonated but little head retention
- Taste : Hoppy, and creamy, with an odd Lactose tickle, leading into a energy drink like after-taste.
Another fantastic, can design, and an interesting concept. I was apprehensive to try this one, but honestly I think this was the best of the bunch. The gimmick was clearly present in this one but it definitely was second banana to the beer.
