Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the eternal Hoptimists.
We are back dipping out toes in the misty waters of low % beers, and we find ourselves face to face with another creation by Mash Gang. This time they have teamed up with Northern Monk as part of their patrons project to create Leimai Lemaow/Turbo Rave Love, a sour beer that will make you go Oooo.
- Name: Leimai Lemaow/Turbo Rave Love
- Brewery: Mash Gang (aka Adam and Tom at Northern Monk Old Flax Store) X Northern Monk
- Aroma : Strong scent of red fruits, and sweetness.
- Appearance : Deep cherry red, with a thin tight slightly off white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated with poor head retention.
- Taste : Sweet and Fruity, not at all synthetic in taste, has a slight tang to it, that makes you smack your lips and go back for another mouthful.
Although this is a sour beer, it wasn’t the kind that turns your face inside out when you drink it, it was subtle, fruity and delicious. I can see this being very popular with the sour crowd, especially if your looking for something light as you have to drive later.
As is the same with all of the patrons projects, the labels open up to reveal more information surrounding the artist or cause it was made in conjunction with. Leimai Lemaow/Turbo Rave Love is no different.
Leimai Lemaow, is an artist and designer from Liverpool who is now living in Manchester and is painting worldwide. She specializes in Graffiti, Clothing and Footwear and has a passion for lettering and illustration.
