Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the eternal Hoptimists.
Today we are looking at another cheeky Collab sent to use as part of the friends of Brewdog bundle. This time we have the formidable SALT teaming up with BD to create this dry hopped Pilsner.
- Name: H-Pinch
- Brewery: SALT X Brewdog
- Aroma : Strong scent of Hop and Malt
- Appearance : Clear golden with a thin open white head.
- Body : Medium to thin bodied, well carbonated, no head retention.
- Taste : A very crisp initial bite of hop that mellows to a malty biscuit.
Again, I find myself face to face with my foe… Pilnser. Usually I leave these to our Lager lad ( Pete). But, I was told this one was different, and it certainly was!
If all Pilsners & Lagers tasted like this I wouldn’t have any problems drinking it, the hop bite makes your mouth water, and the biscuity aftertaste makes you want to go back for more. I’ve never seen this on sale outside of this friends of Brewdog package, but I will be keeping my eyes open for it moving forward.
