Hello My fellow beer drinkers,
Welcome back to The Eternal Hoptimists! As you may know earlier this week we had a sit down chat with the lovely Emma & Olly from Merakai Brewing co and if you want to check out what they had to say in our meet the brewers interview here
This week we will be sampling a number of Merakai’s beers so do keep your eyes open over the coming week, Today Sam is checking out their DDH, lets see what he thought.

- Name : I’m Your Biggest Fan, DDH
- Brewery: Merakai Brewing Co, East Sussex
- Hops : Mosaic, Amarillo, Azacca & Equanot Cryo
- Grain : Barley, Oats & Wheat
- Aroma : Strong floral and citrus hoppy notes
- Appearance : Clear very pale, almost lemon cordial colour with a fluffy tight white head
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated and with fantastic head retention.
- Taste : A bitter hoppy explosion that flows into a citrus hit with a slight biscuity undertone with a dry finish.
Wow, I found this one very refreshing despite the dry finish, it was certainly well earned after a day at work! It was really well balanced and that touch of biscuit really made it for me. I will definitely be picking some more of this up when I can.
