Hello My fellow beer drinkers,
Welcome back to The Eternal Hoptimists! As you may know earlier this week we had a sit down chat with the lovely Emma & Olly from Merakai Brewing co and if you want to check out what they had to say in our meet the brewers interview here
- Name : NewZealand…Rocks!
- Brewery: Merakai Brewing Co, East Sussex
- Hops : Motueka, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, & Wakatu
- Grain : Barley, Oats & Wheat
- Aroma : Zesty lemon and Grapefruit tones with a mellow hoppy background.
- Appearance : Straw Yellow in colour with a slightly haze, and a medium tight white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, with a decent head retention
- Taste : Strong layered tropical fruit hit, followed by a very moreish dry white wine like zing.
Wow this one was a mouthful that just kept delivering, waves of tropical fruit making it a very juicy tipple, and then that cutting white wine-y zing at the end had you coming back for more every time! I’m glad I have got more than one of these!
