Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are taking a closer look at another another beer from our Beer52 experiment.
Another craft beer from Croatia. A naturally produced beer that warns of sediment, in the bottle, on the label. The label bears the picture of a dragon after a quick look on their website it seems their name translates as the Dragon Brewery.

- Name : Summer Mist
- Brewery: Zmajska pivovara d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia
- Hops : Chinook, Mosaic, Amarillo and El Dorado
- Grain : Barley malt, wheat malt and oat flakes
- Aroma : Faint hops and some bready/yeasty aroma
- Appearance : Deep Gold, cloudy with sediment visible in the bottle. A careful pour produced a white head
- Body : Full bodied, well carbonated and with good head retention
- Taste : An initial hit of hops, producing a lingering dryness and some bready taste. More bittersweet than bitter
Summer Mist? Despite a careful pour it was more like a 1950s London pea-souper fog! Nevertheless this was a good version of a New England IPA and one I would drink again in the future.
Our overall rating: 3.6/ 5.0
