Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Today John is back in Collab land, this time he is checking out the combined efforts of Beavertown & Lakes Brew Co.
- Name: Beavertown X Lakes Brew Co
- Brewery: HAZY DIPA
- Aroma : Intense tropical aroma, with a tiny hint of malt but not much at all
- Appearance : Very hazy pale yellow in colour with a thin head
- Body : Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, poor head retention.
- Taste : A mango explosion, followed by a plethora of tropical and citrus notes, quite a mild hop flavour considering its Double hopped.
Another incredibly fruity beer. This one was a little unusual as there is unusual New Zealand hops (Pacific, Nelson) but all I can taste is the tropical fruits. Its also a little unusual that this appears to have been imported from Holland considering both breweries are in England, so its certainly travelled some distance!
