Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Today John will be looking at the second of a couple of supermarket exclusives from The Magic Rock Brewery.
- Name: The Fabulist
- Brewery: High Wire Tropical
- Aroma : Hoppy with Tropical fruit tones
- Appearance : Clear pale amber with a good white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, good carbonation, medium head retention.
- Taste : Very Zesty to the point of limey, cant taste any other hop, seems to be overpowered by the Citra
A shame as it has a good combination of Hops, which means there should be some more flavour from the Centennial and Chinook coming through, but alas just Citra!
Not for me this one I’m afraid, I will just double up on the Fabulist so far
