Hi there fellow beer lovers,
I’ll hold my hand up and confess to being a bit of a Thornbridge fan-boy. Jaipur on cask is one of my all time favourite beers and its pretty nifty in bottles and cans too. Add porter and chocolate to the mix and I fully expect to enjoy this one.
Includes lactose added in the brewing process.

- Brewery: Thornbridge, Bakewell, Derbyshire
- Hops : Not specified
- Grain : Barley and wheat
- Aroma : Coffee and little more than dark chocolate and hints of rum
- Appearance : Jet black even when held to the light, appeared clear and produced cream/brown head
- Body : Medium bodied, medium carbonation with some head retention
- Taste : Dark chocolate without the bitterness, coffee/mocha and rum ‘n’ raisin with a slightly sweet vanilla finish.
No surprise here, all that needs to be said is an outstanding beer.
