Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are taking a closer look at another another beer from our Beer52 experiment.
Yet another craft beer from Croatia included in the Beer 52 short-dated box. This one is the ubiquitous New England style IPA which just about every craft brewer produces. All that means is it needs to be good to stand out from the crowd.
- Name : New England IPA
- Brewery: The Garden Brewery, Zagreb, Croatia
- Hops : Simcoe, Citra, Idaho 7 and El Dorado
- Grain : Lager malt, wheat and oats
- Aroma : Hoppy with some tropical notes of pineapple and mango
- Appearance : Pale straw coloured, hazy and an effervescent pour produced a frothy white head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonated and with reasonable level of head retention
- Taste : Strong on tropical fruits, pineapple and mango, with a dry finish
A very drinkable NEIPA with a bit of punch and better than many on the market. For me the best of the beers from this brewery in the box. Lovely.
