Not Another Beer co ltd -Lucky Saint 0.5%, Unfiltered Lager

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.

We are back with another low ABV beverage today, this one seems to be very popular at the moment and is attainable in most big supermarkets, but I must admit I was completely unaware of its existence until we looked at some AF and low ABV beers for out Stoptober week special.

  1. Name: Lucky Saint
  2. Brewery: Not Another Beer Co Ltd
  3. Aroma:  Very Malty with a mild Hop
  4. Appearance: Slightly Hazy Straw Yellow with a v thin white head
  5. Body:  Medium bodied, very carbonated, and good head retention.
  6. Taste:  Very morish biscuity malt with a mellow hop draw, very refreshing and moreish.

Now it’s no secret by now that I am not a big lager drinker, I do however have a massive soft spot for biscuity malt, so this is an AF beer that I would drink again, it’s not ground-breaking by any means, but it’s very nice and gets the job done, and at £1.30 a can I can see why it is a popular cheap alternative.

Our overall rating: 3.4/ 5.0
