Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
We couldn’t have an AF & Low ABV week without making John try one as well could we. John can remember when AF and Low ABV beers first hit the shelves, and well… let just say he wasn’t a fan, but can a newer improved version change his mind on AF?

- Name: Flat Tyre
- Brewery: Piston Head
- Aroma: Faint scent of Citrus and Hop
- Appearance: Really clear pale gold in colour with a thin white head when poured.
- Body: Thin and light in the mouth, reasonable carbonation, but poor head retention.
- Taste: Very light and refreshing hop with a very mellow citrus.
Certainly, an improvement in taste from the days when becks blue first graced the shelves of stores and bars. It is the first time I have had a non-alcoholic beer in many years I’m more of a lime and lemon designated driver. I need to try more to formulate a proper opinion n AF beer, but the taste was much closer to the real deal than back then. This was definitely not a bad experience and I admit AF would not be my first choice. but as a toe dip into the world of non-alcoholic beers, this one has certainly not put me off trying more.
