Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Eyam AKA the Plague Village, have a brewery that doesn’t like to take itself too seriously. It has a number of tipples across a number of styles all of which have embraced the villages heritage as they definitely follow the same naming theme!
All of the beverages in bottle are bottled conditioned, but they do supply casks to a number of local pubs in the surrounding area.

- Name: All Fall Down
- Brewery: Eyam Brewery
- Aroma : Smoked woody scent with a mellow hop.
- Appearance : Opaque golden pine, with a medium white head.
- Body : Light bodied, low carbonation, but good head retention.
- Taste : Very medicinal flavour, with a smoked woodiness running through it, leaving a dry hop finish.
Not a big fan of this one, it was a little too complicated a pallet. I also found the smokiness a little overpowering, but I admit it was definitely an interesting experience. I think I know a couple of people who would like this one, though but unfortunately not my ring around the rosie!
Our Jack ‘O Rating for this one is: 2.8 / 5.0
