Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists Spooktakular Halloween lead-up special.
Today John is adorning his robes ready for Black Mass, but what will he think of the experience?
- Name: Black Mass
- Brewery: Abbeydale Brewery
- Hops: Green Bullet, Cascade, & Columbus
- Aroma: Strong malty aroma with a twist of chocolate
- Appearance: Pitch black in colour, no head but great clarity in appearance.
- Body: Reasonable well bodied, no head retention
- Taste: A mellow draw of over-roasted coffee, malts and hops, very nice and certainly nothing to be scared of.
Overall not bad at all, certainly not one to be frightened of and at 6.6% it scored a ghoul with me.
