Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Fruit beers are wildly popular with younger drinkers so I guess your intrepid reviewers should give them a go. I quite like a traditional Belgian fruit beer. Whilst working in Belgium I asked for a Kriek one evening despite my local host insisting it was ‘girls’ beer’.
This one promises passion fruit, orange and guava, hmm.

- Name : Pogo Fruit Ale
- Brewery: Wild Beer Company (UK), Westcombe, Somerset
- Hops : Not specified
- Grain : Barley and wheat
- Aroma : Tropical fruit and a touch of muskiness
- Appearance : Pale straw, hazy with a brief white head
- Body : Thin, medium carbonated with no head retention
- Taste : Fruity, mainly orange with a bit of guava with a dry rather than sweet finish
This beer may well appeal to the younger generation but it’s not for me. There was nothing wrong with it per se but after years of drinking brown bitter beer its not for my palate but could appeal to lager drinkers.
