This is a beer from the Brewdog and Friends pack for May 2022. It is made in collaboration with Rubies in the Rubble who are a business who manufacture condiments and seek to reduce the amount of food waste. As the can states “… we pack the nation’s favourite condiment with surplus pears that would otherwise go to waste, and donated our proceeds from this Extra Pale Ale to fighting food waste.” Something I think we can all get behind.

- Brewery: Brewdog, Ellon, Scotland
- Hops : Amarillo, Calypso and El Dorado
- Grain : Pale Ale Malt and Torrefied Rice
- Aroma : Lightly citrus and hoppy
- Appearance : Pale straw, slightly hazy with a white head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonation but head retention was poor
- Taste : Citrusy start, hints of pear with a dry, hoppy finish
A pleasant drinking pale ale with a bit of punch and supporting a great initiative.
