Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists!
Over the weekend, Sam and a group of his friends went to the Thought Bubble Comic Convention in Leeds/Harrogate. Where they stumbled upon this beauty, its a Limited Patrons Project DDH IPA which was brewed in conjunction to the festival.

This Particular Patron is sort of a Two-fer as we have the Thought Bubble Itself doing the main backing, and Alex Norris‘ signature artwork on the can. Alex Norris is an award-winning Welsh comic book artist, who is best known for their internet webcomic series “Webcomic Name” They have also made several other series such as “How to love” & “Hello World” you can check out some of their work here

As Sam and the rest of the gang are beer lovers, they all wanted to get in on the action so today we have an unusual four-way review with Sam and our three guests, so without any further ado let’s get supping!

- Name: Alex Norris
- Brewery: Northern Monk X Floc Brewing
- Hops: Eclipse, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka.
- Aroma : The slightest hint of fruits with a touch of wood, followed by a wash of strong hop.
- Appearance : Opaque pineapple yellow, with a slight tight white head
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, good head retention and quite full in the mouth.
- Taste : An intense hop explosion which makes your tongue tingle, there is a subtle hint of grapefruit peeking through which quickly morphs into a bitter pine needle finish.

So, using the power of maths I believe this gives this tipple and average score of…. 3.3/5.0
