We’re back with the T|E|H Advent calendar for 2022 and continuing our look at Turning points 12 beers of Christmas. Now Christmas isn’t the time of year ot be sour, but we thought would make an acceptation with this one!
1. Name : Night Must Fall
2. Brewery: Turning Point Brew Co. (Knaresborough)
3. Hops :
5. Aroma : Blackberries and winter fruits, with a slight sweetness but not much else.
6. Appearance : An opaque hazed Raspberry colour with a frothy pale pink head.
7. Body : Medium bodied, light carbonation, poor head retention.
8. Taste : The damson and blackberry come’s through well, and there is a slight sourness to it from the lemon balm.
A little disappointed with this, I was told it was great, but I found it lacked the explosion of flavour and the puckering sourness of other sours I have had in the past. However, its strong, but not overly so and it does get the old salivation buds working
