Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimist’s,
According to the can, lupulin is the golden part of the hop that gives beer its bitterness, aroma and flavour. Then Lupu Lion is the hippest cat in the pride, a juicy golden pale ale, heavily hopped for roaring citrus notes with a totally paw-some resinous pine finish.
I may be a Tigers (Hull City) fan but have always had a soft spot for lions (but not Millwall) with Parsley the Lion my first role model in life. We also love a bad pun so will this beer be a roaring success?

A fine American Pale Ale. There’s plenty of hops used but they come together to produce a nice juicy fruity taste with a pleasant mouthfeel and without excessive bitterness. The flavour profile is more complex than session IPAs but at 5% it is quite sessionable.
Our overall rating: 3.8/ 5.0
