Today John is checking out something a little different its a sour batch hop sour, which appears to be a sour patch kids inspired sour. Let’s see what John makes of it?
1. Name : Sour Batch Hops
2. Brewery: Mash Gang
3. Aroma : Sweet sherbet and fruit tones.
4. Appearance : Opaque, Aquamarine, no head.
5. Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated no head retention.
6. Taste : Sweet tasting with sherbet tones, pretty acidic more akin to an energy drink than your typical sour.
Definitely not my thing, I feel this is a drink for the younger person, who drink monster energy drinks and play vast amounts of MMORPG’s or maybe that’s just me!?
Very high acidity, and a fantastic unusual colour, very similar to Blue Razz but lacks the flavour pallet.
